Comment: This proetid trilobite was blind. That is, secondarily blind,
having descended from proetids with sight. Such secondary blindness is
not a rare evolutionary event in nature nor trilobites, and
is particularly seen in Order Agnostida and Asaphida Superfamily Trinucleioidea.
